SUMMARYPerform selected duties in the shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment areas.Interface with the Quality, Accounting, Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing departments.Possess fundamental knowledge of quality and warehouse system for effective performance with minimum supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•May be required to perform after hours pager duty support on a rotational basis.
•Perform all aspects of the receiving function when assigned.
•Perform all aspects of the fulfillment (pulling jobs) function when assigned.
•Perform all aspects of the shipping function, including international paperwork when assigned.
•Operate industrial lift-truck and electric hoists to assist in unloading, handling, and loading activities.
•Perform aspects of daily cycle count when assigned.
•Perform aspects of physical inventory when assigned.
•Liaise directly with representatives of Sales, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing as required to meet quality, delivery, and production goals.
•Utilize and help maintain ISO procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
•Suggest improvements in quality, on time delivery, and productivity to enhance customer satisfaction.
•Knowledgeable of Non-conforming process
•Responsible for the proper usage of departmental tools and equipment.
•Perform collateral duties as required; including ECR's.
•Assist coworkers with on-the-job training
•Promote teamwork and foster an exemplary working environment.Interact with coworkers in a manner which enhances employee satisfaction.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESFundamental computer skills required.Prior experience with the inventory modules of a Business Planning System (ERP) preferred.Must be detail oriented, handle pressure, able to handle multiple tasks/priorities and work well with others.
