Advantage Engineering Associates, PC (AEA) is a mid-sized engineering firm with a team of over 90 Engineers, Inspectors, and Surveyors specializing in transportation infrastructure design and construction. AEA offers a comprehensive range of services, including Structural Engineering, Highway and Traffic Engineering, ITS Engineering, Roadway Lighting Design, Building and Facility Design (MEP and Communications Design), and Construction Management. At AEA, we pride ourselves on fostering a challenging yet collaborative work environment that promotes growth and a positive company culture.We are seeking a Newark Office Leader for our Newark, NJ Office (Coming Soon) with a strong background in transportation infrastructure engineering and/or construction management. The ideal candidate will have extensive, relevant experience working with major public agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, MTA, or similar organizations. The Newark Office Leader will acts as a practice builder to provide leadership in planning, directing, and implementing an marketing/business plan to leverage existing relationships and develop new relationships to get additional work.What You'll Do:Responsible for the profitable operation of an office, including business development and revenue generation, client contact, and oversight of office operation.Ensures the achievement of short and long-term goals for operations, workforce planning, financial performance, and growth.Responsible for marketing the firm's services, acquiring contracts, and serving as the firm's responsible contact with specific clients.Build a strong and effective team based upon the principles of leadership and empowerment. Attracts experienced staff members who bring client relationships, strong technical credentials, and a solid reputation.Manages/expands existing client relationships and pursues new client relationships.QualificationsProven communication skills and experience in community and professional leadership.Bachelor's degree in engineering, Planning, or a related field from an accredited program.Proven experience in Engineering or Project Management.More than 10 years of experience leading and supervising personnel.At least 10 years actively engaged with client management and business development.Operational and financial management experience.Established market relationships targeted to the New Jersey/New York marketplace.
Compensation and BenefitsThe approximate compensation range for this position starts at $225,000 per year. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, and skills.Company Vehicle to be provided
