We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a skilled-nursing facility and be familiar with the admissions process, including insurance verification and authorization processes.
Responsibilities:
Assist in obtaining information to ensure residents meet the criteria for admissionPrepare identification records for residentsMaintain an accurate record of available beds, current residents, and residents' careCollect, assemble, and check admission documentsNotify and maintain communication with nursing servicesStay up to date on current Medicare/Medicaid regulations governing admission/discharge requirements of health care facilitiesPerform other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to assure that the needs of the facility are metRequirements:
Experience with insurance verification and authorization processesExperience in a Skilled Nursing FacilityHigh school diploma or its equivalentCOVID-19 VaccinationPreferences:
