Certified Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
Set up and operatevarious types of respiratory care equipment for resident diagnosis andtreatmentPerforms patientassessment and develops a comprehensive care planModifies therapy planto maximize the efficacy of the therapyregimenReview data in theresident record including history, lab data, radiological studies, progressnotes, respiratory and cardiovascular monitoring dataDocument/recordrespiratory therapy dataAdminister and modifyvarious respiratory therapy proceduresAssess resident'soverall status and progressEducate residentsand/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipmentAssist in respiratorytherapy practices under the supervision and guidance of an RRTPerform any servicesand assignments within the scope of practice of a CRTCertified Respiratory Therapist Requirements
Valid, current NYSlicenseCertified RespiratoryTherapist credential as per the NBRCCOVID-19 VaccinationPreferred
