SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing, refining, and tracking expense reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills. The candidate must also demonstrate strong independent reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the capability to think and act proactively. The Financial Analyst will work with various internal departments on a regular basis.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Financial Analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Collaborate on the buildout of the annual enterprise budget/re-forecastPreparation of departmental expense tracking reportsLead monthly meetings with department heads to go over financial resultsReview accuracy of the coding of data entered into ERP system to align to budgetAssist with the month-end and year-end closing processAssist in tracking performance against budgets and business plans and recommend modifications as appropriateExposure to suite, sponsorship and ticket sales revenue reportingAssist in crafting and updating financial reports that are distributed to senior leadershipAd hoc reporting as necessary, including excel modeling, management reporting dashboards, etc.The above noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the associate a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of their position. WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Sports Management, Economics, or Business Management required1-3 years experience in an analytical and finance role, including internshipsExperience in Workday Adaptive, NetSuite and Excel a plusExperienced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functionsWorking knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExceptional analytical skillsUnderstanding of financial analysis with the ability to evaluate and communicate strategic implicationsFlexibility to work the hours needed to meet firm deadlinesWHO YOU ARE

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn. You may be expected to occasionally attend events taking place on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
