Role: .NET Developer

Location : Washington, DC (Hybrid - Onsite 2 days per week) Clearance Requirement : Secret Clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred)

Summary : We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team in supporting critical applications and workflows at the Department of State. This role involves building and maintaining robust .NET applications in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to quality development, and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and stakeholders, to understand and translate business requirements into functional applications. Provide technical support for existing .NET applications, including debugging and resolving complex issues. Contribute to software architecture and design decisions, ensuring best practices and adherence to coding standards. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security. Implement integrations with other systems and third-party APIs as necessary. Work within an agile framework to deliver incremental improvements and enhancements. Support deployments, updates, and migrations in both cloud and on-premise environments. Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies. Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks. Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern libraries (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server) and experience developing and optimizing SQL queries. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions is a bonus. Experience with SharePoint development and workflows is highly desirable. Knowledge of secure coding practices and common security frameworks. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Working Conditions :

Hybrid work model requiring two days onsite in Washington, DC, with flexibility for remote work for the remaining days. Role may occasionally require participation in after-hours support rotations or on-call duties during critical incidents.
