The inaugural James Hardie™ Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational takes place March 31 to April 6, 2025, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million dollars. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event. Benefitting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, and First Tee Foundation, the James Hardie™ Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:
This internship will focus on the planning and execution of the on-site course build. This candidate will work directly with the Manager of Operations and work with tournament vendors. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment, keen to details, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details:
Assist with the planning and execution of onsite operationsProvide support to strategic site-build plan and vendor timelinesEnsure fulfillment and inventory of tournament signage and tent plansAct as secondary point of contact for vendorsConduct site walk-throughs for all building eventsCompile inventory of storage equipment and tournament assetsAssist tournament partners and vendors with on-site activations during tournament weekAid in miscellaneous operational duties required on-course and in the tournament officeAct as point of contact for various onsite vendors and assist with set up needsQualified Applicants Must Have:
A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environmentStrong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeFlexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekendsFull availability during tournament week March 31 - April 6, 2025Internships will run from January 15 - April 15,2025Eligibility
