Senior Audit Associates are responsible for organizing and taking charge of audits, reviews and compilations. The responsibilities of audit seniors include overseeing the process of audits, reviews and compilations, managing associates assigned to the engagement, performing research on auditing, accounting and other consulting tasks and being a liaison between the audit team and the client.
Essential Performance:
Plan and perform financial statement audit, review, compilation, preparation and agreed-upon procedures engagementsPrepare financial statements, footnotes, and any other client deliverablesMaintain active relationships and communication with clients throughout the yearAnalyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consultingAssists in developing professional staff.Work Performance Skills:
Holds advanced knowledge of accounting rules and auditing standards & regulationsAbility to develop expertise in overall firm services & specialize in niche industry(s)Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and research skillsAbility to initiate and handle a variety of projects, tasks, or commitment simultaneously.Capacity to work as part of a team while building and maintaining positive, friendly, and supportive relationships with others.Collaborate effectively across the firmDemonstrates ability to foster business developmentQualifications:
At least 2 years of extensive audit & accounting experience4-year degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA preferredMS Office applications experience required (Word, Excel, etc).Experience with CCH products preferred.Experience with Caseware software preferred.Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
