Material Handler

As a Material Handler your responsibilities are receiving, handling, and storing material at this educational non-profit's warehouse. This material supports our network of Montessori- inspired preschools in under-resourced communities. You are experienced with unloading and loading material that is delivered to or shipped from the warehouse, conducting inventory counts, verifying deliveries match orders, inspecting material for damage, picking, packing, and shipping material. You will perform material transactions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, create waybills for shipping and maintain an organized and clean working environment.

Required Skills & Experience •High school diploma or equivalent certification •Four or more years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment •Experience receiving, handling, and storing material while maintaining inventory accuracy in a clean and organized environment •Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, perform transactions in an ERP system, and work in a warehouse environment. •Ability to meet physical requirements of this role, including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, climbing, bending, reaching, and kneeling for extended periods of time •Able to use pallet jack and hand trucks to move material •Ability to speak, read, and write English
Nice to Have Skills & Experience •Experience working independently and in small teams •Skilled in organizing material •Knowledge of inventory control •Excellent time management
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
