As our Service Line Lead, you will diversify and grow our base of research consulting and data services. You will establish the strategic direction and business objectives for our research consulting and data services, maintaining effective long-term relationships with UNOS' clients. This key leadership role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the differentiated value and financial health of our growing research consulting and data services portfolio. Key Responsibilities: •Develop strategic, business and operational plans to differentiate and grow service line. •Manage the financial performance (P&L) of the service line. •Lead a matrix team through the implementation of strategic, business development and operational plans for the service line, including team members from research, data analytics, business development, marketing, IT, finance and legal. •Oversee the development of marketing campaigns and communications for the service line. •Liaise with technical and operational departments for service / product improvements and prioritization of resources. •Oversee the product development lifecycle of offerings and tools within the service line including release cadence for product improvements and enhancements. •Generate market, customer and competitive insights to identify service line enhancements and new offerings. •Partner with our Business Development Lead to scope and negotiate customer / client agreements. •Build and maintain relationships with relevant vendors and partners. •Cultivate relationships with industry partners and collaborators. Collaborate with external affairs, as needed, to promote our expertise across healthcare and life sciences sectors. Minimum Requirements: •8+ years of progressive leadership experience in a research services and/or data services organization. Critical Skills: •Significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of data scientists, biostatisticians, public health researchers and/or behavioral scientists through project scoping and service delivery. •Experience developing new research and/or data services in response to emerging industry trends and client needs. •Experience partnering with business development / sales to align internal capabilities with external needs. •Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written. •Superior ability to build trust with colleagues, clients and collaborators. •Skilled in navigating ambiguity and complexity. Education: •A 4-year degree in a related field of study, such as biostatistics, public health, bioengineering, or behavioral science, or the equivalent experience. •Advanced degree is preferred Physical Requirements: General office demands Some travel required About UsThe United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) coordinates the nation's organ transplant system, providing vital services to meet the needs of men, women and children awaiting lifesaving organ transplants.
