to join the Business Practice team of a reputable law firm. This partner-level role offers the opportunity to represent top investment firms and fund sponsors, focusing on the formation of private equity, venture capital, real estate, and other investment funds.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the formation of private investment funds, including drafting and negotiating fund documentationAdvise on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and governance issuesProvide ongoing counseling on SEC regulations, fiduciary duties, and compliance with securities lawsDraft transactional documents for fund-related investments and collaborate on multidisciplinary transactionsSupport mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures involving fund clientsParticipate in client pitches and business development activitiesQualificationsJD from an ABA-accredited law school
and license to practice law7+ years
of experience in fund formation, structuring, and capital raising, with expertise in private equity, real estate, and venture capitalEstablished book of business requiredStrong academic background with superior analytical and writing skillsClient-centered approach with exceptional communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse teamCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range : $200,000 - $325,000 annually (based on experience and location)Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer contributions, disability and life insurance, parental leave, commuter allowance, billable credit hours for DEI and pro bono work, annual bonus, and more.
