Job Description:Fortune Media is a distinguished provider of trusted business, tech, finance news and publisher of many best-of lists, such as the Fortune 500 ranking, 100 Best Companies and The Most Powerful Women list. Fortune’s print, digital and conferences platforms are a resource to business leaders and as a result capture hard to reach audiences and provide valuable B2B messaging platforms.Fortune’s sales team is cultivating a new entrepreneurial team to build and deliver opportunities for companies to leverage digital and print assets and is looking for an eager, talented, and dynamic seller to join the team.Key Responsibilities:
Engage Fortune 1000 companies as sales prospectsShowcase suitable solutions and opportunitiesSecure appointments with key business decision makers through cold calling, networking or other means of booking meetingsConduct calls to introduce and pitch Fortune digital assets as solutionsTrack all activity, notes and follow up activities in the company CRMMove prospects forward through the sales process to close and renewalAct as primary contact for Fortune to communicate relevant and important information to assigned Fortune 1000 companies/clientsCoordinate with marketing, account management and activation teams to sell and deliver on campaignsMaintain a full activity calendar of prospective business and create a robust pipeline in order to hit sales goalsQualifications:
Excellent communication skillsAbility to overcome objections in real time2-3 years minimum in a sales role where cold calling was a primary taskProficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM toolsExperience developing new business relationships in a sales roleStrong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospectsComprehension of KPIs and goals of clients campaignsPositive attitude with the willingness to learn and grow and build in new product stagesHigh energy and passion for the jobProven track record in B2B sales, preferably with Fortune 1000 companiesFamiliarity with the media landscape, including digital, print, and branded content keyEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market demandsFlexible and creativeDigital media savvyBachelor's DegreeWe are looking for passionate, motivated, and goal-oriented individuals to drive resourceful, organized, customer-focused problem solvers who have great...
