SummaryThe Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing lawn care, tree, and pest sales plans and pricing throughout their assigned branch. The manager will lead sales representatives, meet sales and retention goals, and grow our customer base.
Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers both passive and active to create a long-term business pipelineDevelop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall sales objectivesProvide proactive support, guidance, and goal-setting to develop, motivate, and hold sales representatives accountableUnderstand business strategies and deploy high-impact solutions on a branch level for sales, customer retention, and overall growth of the businessHave a data-driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insight to the branchConsistently measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives to ensure they are delivering desired outcomesExceed annual new customer, net sales, and profit targets for assigned region, as defined by the annual budgetProvide data every week to provide insight to managementMust be passionate about Fairway's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission, and values to external and internal stakeholdersRequirements
Required Education & Experience
Lawn care, tree, pest, or service delivery industry sales experience requiredStrong aptitude with Sales requiredExperience working with technology, including Microsoft applications, requiredStrong ability to remain organized, multitask, and deliver results in a timely mannerKey Competencies Required:

Work is performed in both an office environment, trade shows, and on customers' properties during site visits; Ability to walk, stand, bend, etc.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typing, etc. while working in an office environmentSpecific abilities required by this job include close and distant vision as well as the ability to hear normal conversation and respond, either verbally or in writing, to accurately convey detail and/or instructionsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
