Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.The HR Manager (Finance/Manufacturing) – Broomfield, Colorado Site will be responsible to execute all site HR and Finance tasks and projects, assist in resolving personnel issues while displaying professional conduct in the service delivery of all HR functions. This position is a key member of the team, and will be a business partner to all site and sector leaders.What you’ll do:- Act as the trusted advisor to all client groups, providing daily input and guidance on the people, teams or programs in order to drive people objectives.- Manage the recruitment process and successful hiring and on boarding of qualified candidates- Assist in applicant screening and employment reference checks for potential candidates.- Develop, coordinate and participate in creative solutions to business challenges and cultural change.- Support efforts to optimize employee retention through effective, proactive human resource programs & communication.- Routinely consult and engage with employees to foster and promote engagement at all levels of the organization.- Partner with line managers, coaching and advising them on all people matters.- Take appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues.- Ensure the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures.- Ensure that the site is compliant with StandardAero practices and procedures, and local legislation.- Prepare reports, documentation and relevant presentations that are required on a regular and ad hoc basis.- Participate in company-wide HR initiatives as required.- Monitor metrics such as headcount, turnover, etc.- Analyze TWC requirements for the business unit and identify opportunities for improvement- Bi-weekly forecasting of the business unit P&L and TWC results- Coordinates the day-to-day financial operations within the business unit including the administration and monitoring of company financial policies.- Responsible for meeting the financial reporting requirements of the business unit which include labor productivity analysis, measures of performance, month-end and related journal entries, margin analysis, expense reviews and profit planning.- Develops budget and expense projections. Provides financial analysis of capital acquisitions.- Monitors, maintains and reviews financial records and general ledgers.- Reviews and monitors contract program objectives and the effective utilization of the business unit funds. Recommends changes in financial resource allocations.- Monitors the financial reporting and accounting system. Prepares and coordinates the preparation of financial statements, estimates, summaries and other financial analysis and management reports.- Prepares all expenditure authorizations and monitors capital project spending.- Liaises with company credit department and corporate lawyers with respect to business unit specific issues.- Actively participates in the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of strategic plans, budgets, goals and outcomesWhat skills you will require:- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance and/or Human Resources Management/ at least 4 years’ experience in a relevant field.- Familiarity with current federal and local Employment Legislation, Employment Equity regulations, applicable Payroll policies and procedures- Strong organizational skills.- Strong written & verbal communication skills.- Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to work effectively alone & prioritize demands- Highly motivated, service, & team-oriented individual with strong attention to detail.- Possess a proactive approach to customer service and relationship building with all levels of employees.- Ability to think creatively and implement HR solutions in a growing and evolving organization- Ability to collect and analyze data to make data driven business decisions- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.- Working knowledge of integrated financial systems.- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.- University degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a related field; or equivalent.- Experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activity.Preferred characteristics:- Knowledge in US employment law knowledge is desirable.- Recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA or CFM); or equivalent experience.Benefits that make life better:- Comprehensive Healthcare- 5% 401K Matching- Paid Time Off- Bonus Opportunities- Short- & Long-Term Disability- Life & AD&D Insurance- Learning & Training opportunities
