Chief Inspector
to assign, assist, and oversee our quality inspectors in the inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products. As a
Chief Inspector , you’ll Train our beginner-senior level inspectors on engine overhaul inspection process Write non-conforming materials reports when required and be familiar with the process of quarantining products that have been rejected by QA Lead quality and engineering in investigations of process related quality issues Read, understand, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and technical orders to carry out tasks Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively mentor team members as their resident inspection expert on components and subassemblies Detail oriented, ability to stay on task, and self-motivated Be compliant with safety procedures and policies Basic Qualifications: Highschool diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience Knowledge of MISTR components Ability to possess Repairman’s Certificate Familiarity with government technical orders Preferred Qualifications Certification in precision inspection, GD&T and other related discipline Familiarity ISO or AS 9100 QMS Salary Range: $ 78,540 - $108,834 per year. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
