Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support our Employee Relations and Practices (ER&P) functions. This role is pivotal in driving strategic HR initiatives, supporting complex HR operations, and enhancing the employee experience across Emory Healthcare.

The Program Manager will work closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations professionals, and other HR and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals, facilitate effective HR program implementation, and support best practices across the system. This position reports to the Emory Healthcare Vice President of Employment Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Implementation:

Support the design, planning, and implementation of HRBP and ER&P initiatives across Emory Healthcare.

Collaborate with HR leaders to develop and execute programs that improve employee relations, engagement, and retention.

Ensure programs align with Emory Healthcare’s values and strategic goals, tailoring them to meet the unique needs of various departments and teams.

Project Management:

Manage end-to-end projects related to HRBP and ER&P functions, including timelines, resources, deliverables, and performance tracking.

Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.

Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and report on data related to employee relations issues, HR program effectiveness, and workforce trends.

Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership, using data to drive HR strategy and decision-making.

Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights and make actionable recommendations.

HR Policy Support and Compliance:

Support the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies in alignment with Emory Healthcare’s standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure HRBP and ER&P processes are compliant with applicable employment laws and internal policies.

Assist in reviewing and updating policies as needed to reflect changes in laws, industry standards, and best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with HRBPs, Employee Relations teams, and business leaders to provide programmatic support and address HR challenges.

Communicate HR program goals, updates, and impacts to key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and leaders.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure consistent understanding and application of HR practices across Emory Healthcare.

Training and Development:

Develop and facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on HR topics, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy awareness.

Support the development of HRBPs through training on employee relations practices and organizational development strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, HR business partnership, or related areas. Experience in healthcare or a large, matrixed organization is strongly preferred.

Skills:

Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).

Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance best practices.

Certifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock , Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
