In this challenging role, you will focus on duties directed from the corporate quality group. You will be collecting and analyzing data to be used for product improvement projects, preparing charts and reports, writing procedures and investigating product failure modes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Helps with training needs in support of new procedures and standards

Support the development of new programs that support the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS)

Organizes documents, standards, policies and procedures within our document control system

Prepares charts and reports in support of the Quality team that are used to drive performance gains

Prepares presentations in support of the deployment of standard Generac tools, methodologies, standards, practices and processes

Participate in and support the execution of events that are led by the Quality team to improve business processes

Lead a project related to the department policy deployment

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

Microsoft Office experience (including Excel).

Proficient oral and written communication and able to write clearly and succinctly to get a message across.

The ability to work 15-20 hours during the school year and full-time during school breaks

Physical Demands

: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
