Summary:
KBR is focused on supporting the energy transition and sustainability solutions via our technological solutions in clean fuels, plastics recycling, ammonia, and critical minerals to name a few. Progressing projects to achieve final investment decisions in this space is unique and needs a diverse ecosystem to meet global demands. The role of Global Project Development Solutions Director will be to develop and deliver on strategies to our clients and internal stakeholders simultaneously. These are large and complex projects that involve greenfield as well as brownfield developments that will need creative solutions to reach stated objectives. The position will develop and deploy creative solutions to support various counterparties as part of the development infrastructure. These developments will involve deployment of KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions core portfolio and factor in adjacent offerings to support the development. The Development Lead will have the following key responsibilities and requirements to be successful:
Primary Responsibilities:
Leads customer engagement to develop and implement strategies supporting energy transition projects
Manage multi-faceted interface with multiple counterparties as part of the development efforts
Develop and maintain key relationships with client and partner executive leadership and KBR stakeholders
Communicate the value of KBR’s STS portfolio for project execution from concept to implementation
Clear communication on value proposition of the project development
Compliance & HSSE: Demonstrates commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations and corporate policies ensuring the highest of ethics in business conduct, including but not limited to the KBR’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, ITCO and other relevant anti-corruption policies. Strong commitment to safety and the value of safety policies and procedures
Experience, Skills, and Requirements:
Growth-oriented leader with a proven ability to develop and execute Technology sales with a successful track record in business development.
Minimum of 10 years' in front-end engineering and technology experience in global licensing, with 7+ years in the in a successful sales role
Ability to understand and participate in all aspects of technology management, including support to regional sales and business development, proposal development, contract negotiation and project execution.
Risk management skills with the ability to successfully establish and execute contracts through multiple stages of project development
Must have a personal commitment to organizational excellence, displaying honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Education:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline)
MBA (preferred)
