Successful interns will possess the creativity, curiosity, motivation, and skills necessary to create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team.Your Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate, hard-working designer to help in the design process, 3D development, selecting and ordering finishes, assisting in organizing and preparing for meetings, incorporating designs into Revit, and help produce presentation materials.Conducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, program, and other similar material.Supports project team in development of interior design documentation and presentation materials.Assists in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to continue to project space planning, lighting, material selection, and furniture design.Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components to develop construction documents.Assists in research of concept, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents.Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience with Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign.Please include work samples in your application to be considered for this position.Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.Education and Experience
Working towards an Interior Design degree from a CIDA-accredited institution is required.Must be in the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate degree or in a master’s program.Please note: We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing an Interior Design degree from an accredited school. If you have already graduated, please check our website for other full-time positions that might be more suitable for you.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
