Trinity Maintenance Services is looking for a Career Quality Inspector for our night shift in our Fort Worth, TX location! In this role, the Quality Inspector: Makes visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements. Inspects incoming materials or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process. What you'll do: Utilize inspection tools and/or measuring equipment to ensure compliance to Trinity Industries, Inc. policy and procedures Apply quality processes and tools under the guiding rules of the AAR and FRA Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Complete and maintain certification on measuring and testing equipment Conduct compliance examinations to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment Under supervision, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of manufacturing and repair defects Under supervision, conduct routine Quality Program compliance audits Research inspection objectives to facilitate understanding of the program or activity to be inspected Follow all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications What you'll need: Minimum of 1 year experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to meet NDT Level II certification for assigned discipline in the first 12 months Familiarity with appropriate codes and regulations within the rail industry Ability to read drawings and blueprints Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected Ability to perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measuring instruments and inspection equipment
