Senior Power Delivery Program Manager Remote
POWER Engineers, Inc. provides program management services for our client’s major electric power delivery projects across North America and selected programs globally. We are seeking a uniquely talented and experienced Program Manager to drive operational excellence in our delivery of program and portfolio management services to our clients. Our Program Manager position will offer you an exciting opportunity to solidify POWER’s leadership position with our clients as the program and project delivery partner of choice. This is a remote position that will require up to 50% travel.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead medium to large program achieving both Owner and POWER performance metrics
Develop multiparty project team organization (including Owner, contractor, specialty consultants), including organization, DOR and roles and responsibilities. Develop project resource plans and forecasts with participating organizations and implement project staff onboarding and training plan
Develop & maintain schedules, lead/participate in status meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take leading role in client relationships
Develop and manage risk based project budget contingencies. Use risk register to track and mitigate project risks, and use issue log to track and mitigate project issues
Provides leadership and mentoring to the project teams and other PMs and assists them in accomplishing personal development goals
Responsible for the financial success of the program. Monitors and meets required program metrics. Manages subcontractors as needed on programs of all sizes
Establish and manage change management process. Lead project through Owner governance review process (e.g., stage gate reviews)
Establish and track project key performance indicators (KPI). Analyze project status (in collaboration with controls specialist and team) and report project performance against baseline and KPI
Responsible for full project lifecycle cost and schedule management. Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM) cost management and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule management
Demonstrated Program Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, leading project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or technology
Twenty (15) + years of experience in project and program management
Twenty (15) + years of experience in Electric Utility/Power Delivery market
Practical program/portfolio mobilization and execution experience
PMP certification
Process development, documentation, and training
Experience in developing and executing program strategies, plans and initiatives for large T&D programs
Relevant electric utility contacts with history of capturing utility projects and programs
Ability to travel up to 50%
Desired Education/Experience
Excellent organization and communication skills
Understand power delivery/utility business drivers from the owner perspective
Builds trusted client and team relationships
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio

DOE Salary:
The pay range for this position is $140K - $160K annually; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
