Job Title: Shop Technician
1st & 3rd shift openings!
Job Description
As a member of the Shop Team, an individual will be working in both the receiving section and assembly section of the facility. Time will be split 50/50 here.
The shop tech will be responsible for but not limited to:
Technical repairs - diagnosing the issues and mechanically fixing the problem
Ability to read assembly guidelines as written by the OEM service engineers
Reassembly of interior components and fit and finish or exterior components such as doors and trim
Eye for inspecting incoming and outgoing vehicles
Document any additional issues found and inform the Team Leader/Manager in a timely manner
Maintain a clean work environment
MUST HAVE:
Basic Automotive experience - 6 months - 1 year experience.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools - own a basic tool set - working with nuts and bolts
Lift 5-50 pounds throughout the shift - lift, bend, move, twist with this weight
Ability to communicate with customers and explain to them the issues with the vehicle and the steps to repair said issues
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
PREFFERED:
Likes to work on their car at home during down time
