As an on-siteNetwork Engineer III, you will:
Work as an independent member of a highly qualified, diverse team of talented individuals.
Collaborate with field teams at remote locations installing and configuring equipment in accordance with national policies and guidelines.

A Week in the Life of an on-siteNetwork Engineer III:
Configure and troubleshootEnterprise-level Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)to protect data and control access to the US Government customer's classified network.
Install and configure Ciscorouter and switches.
TroubleshootCisco routing/switching,VMware,andVPN issues.
Coordinate on-sitewith remote users to install/configure equipment and troubleshoot remoteNetwork layer 2 and layer 3 issues..
Propose enhancementsto improve performance and reduce costs of maintaining a compliant network.
Interface withsenior managementand their vendors' technical personnel.
Allowed to work independently or semi-independently with minimum guidance or direction.
Job Requirements
TOP SECRETsecurity clearance withSCI eligibility
Bachelors Degree (highly desired)
US Citizenship is required
Minimum of 7 years of networking experience
Experience withCisco ISEconfiguration and troubleshooting,Cisco router, switches, and firewalls
Experience troubleshootingNetwork layer 2 and layer 3
Candidates with CCNP, CCIE, and/or a Bachelors Degree will be given preferential consideration.
NOTE:This is an onsite position based in Dallas, TX, with no telework possibilities.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed topay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is$130,000- $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
