The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory.
LOCATION:
Fully Onsite - 3995 Pine Ln SE, Bessemer, AL 35022
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completing physical inventories and cycle counts on all warehouse aisles/bins as scheduled; more frequent for faster-moving items. Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. Maintaining product identification and location assignments. Investigating inventory discrepancies between WMS and physical stock; reconciling in a timely manner. Following and being willing to report any violations of Safety Guidelines, Quality Guidelines, or Standard Operating Procedures. Ensuring that materials are maintained and stored in an orderly fashion Performing other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
High School diploma/GED required. 1+ years Material Handling experience is required. Current sit-down propane forklift operation certification preferred. Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years. Recent experience with cycle counting/inventory management. Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Outlook and Excel. Hardworking and dependable with strong initiative to do more. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs as needed throughout work shift. Must be detail-oriented for data entry and inventory documentation. High energy personality. Strong written and oral communication skills. Must see in the normal vision range with or without correction. Must hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity. Strong organizational skills. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work primarily takes place in a warehouse environment. May encounter occasional stressful situations. Work may include responding to critical customer driven situations which may result in working some weekends, holidays, and after normal business hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Thorough understanding of inventory processes and system transactions. Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Royal offers a competitive pay package that includes an hourly wage paid weekly and a production bonus paid monthly totaling $18.00 per hour. $18.00 per hour is paid weekly. The production bonus is paid monthly, and pays a year-to-date average of $2.00 per hour.
