We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs).
The successful candidate will employ their working knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and analytical skills in electromagnetic and microwave theory.Responsibilities include design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities.
Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience are desired.Demonstrated lead experience at the technical and programmatic level is valued. We are looking for team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience.
Senior principal engineers are expected to contribute technically but also understand programmatic issues. Mentorship of junior engineers and developing the next generation of subject matter experts is also a critical skill we are looking for.What You Will DoDesign of RF microwave components and phased array applicationsIntegration and test of component level and system level phased array hardwareSome travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and testHands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
