Whether you are seeking new challenges, greater variety, or a better opportunity, we are on the lookout for professionals who enjoy being part of something bigger.Position Overview:The GIS Analyst is responsible for performing geospatial analysis and processing tasks relating to the development of GIS databases, the compilation of geospatial data required for multiple-scale map and database production. The position will support federal and non-federal projects while ensuring delivery of the highest level of geospatial services and products for our clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Working with project teams to support a variety of municipal, state and federal projects.Ensure geospatial products are compliant with applicable specifications.Construct spatial databases and apply attribution as needed.Conduct formalized QA/QC procedures of geodatabases.Provide technical support of GIS equipment, software, data, and products.Edit spatial and tabular data.Create functional GIS models using both raster and vector data.Establish complex relational database joins and queries using ArcGIS and other commercially available software.Provide mapping and analysis services for various cross functional teams.Identify new processes and procedures within a project, as needed.Produce professional quality maps and tabular outputs for presentations.Perform GPS field work to collect data for use in GIS products.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Urban Planning, or similar.Minimum of 5 years' experience with knowledge of Federal geospatial services with the Department of Defense (e.g., Navy, Marine Corps, Army), or related experience.Experience with the NAVFAC GeoReadiness Program is preferred including SDE, SDSFIE, FIAR, Navy Data Collection Guide, iNFADS and Common Installation Picture (CIP).Technical expertise in the areas of Geography, Photogrammetry, Cartography, Imagery Analysis, GIS, Surveying and Civil Engineering.Knowledge of federal government (NAVFAC, USACE, etc) spatial data products and services.Knowledge and experience with GIS Enterprise, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online preferred.Knowledge of GIS data collection and troubleshooting.Ability and willingness to travel 30% and up to 2 weeks at a time.PRIME AE Group is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.#LI-HYBRID
