DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damagesOperate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargoLoad and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free mannerPrepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparationSign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damagesMaintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degreesStage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organizationEnsure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific)Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in SOPs or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freightSite Specific: Completion of weekly bond checksSite Specific: Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untowardSite Specific: Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD's as requiredQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be at least 18 years oldPossess good physical stamina and coordination.
Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs.
