This position is responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing all aspects of partner, associate, and law student recruiting and onboarding. Key responsibilities include recruiting and integrating lateral partners, of counsel, and associates, conducting the on-campus recruiting process, managing the summer associate program, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new attorneys.In collaboration with the Managing Partner, Department Heads, and Practice Group Leaders, this role will:Lead the law school student recruitment process, developing outreach strategies and communications with key law schools in Texas.Organize and oversee all aspects of the summer associate program, including on-campus and in-office interviews, as well as work assignments, training, social events, and evaluations.Redesign and implement a comprehensive Summer Associate program, including creating detailed program booklets with key firm information and attorney contact lists.Partner with the Managing Partner to recruit lateral attorneys in alignment with the Firms strategic goals and practice needs.Manage and coordinate scheduling, ensuring all interviewing attorneys receive and maintain up-to-date calendar invitations.Guide the onboarding and orientation process for new attorneys, including the Lateral Partner Integration Program, ensuring an experience that reflects the Firms high standards of excellence.Coordinate the annual associate retreats, enhancing professional development and team integration.Collaborate with attorneys and business development to facilitate integration and business development efforts for lateral hires.Generate and analyze reports and projections related to market hiring trends in diversity, personnel management, and other attorney-related issues for Firm leadershipPrescreen lateral attorneys and law student applications, maintaining frequent communication with candidates regarding recruitment procedures and policies.Oversee the due diligence and offer process for lateral hires, ensuring compliance and efficiency.Serve as the liaison with external organizations, including legal search firms, the National Association for Law Placement, and other professional bodies.Provide ongoing counseling and advice to Summer Associates on Firm policies and procedures throughout the program.Manage pre-employment communications, start dates, moving expenses and bar-related reimbursements for entry-level associates.Ensure timely dissemination of new hire information to relevant Firm personnel.
