Reports to: Power-Gen Division Sales Manager Cooperates with: All Departments Primary Responsibility: This position is responsible for direct sales of the complete MIRATECH product line, primarily in the Power Gen Market Segment, for the Midwestern US region Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Manage account sales and opportunity pipeline for the Midwestern US region. Develop new accounts to continuously improve MIRATECH's image and customer relations. Develop new and maintain existing Consulting Engineer relationships. Retain, grow, and manage existing customer accounts and relationships. Develop and increase sales revenue and gross profit to meet assigned targets. Manage independent manufacturers' representatives within territory with respect to account lists, call frequency, pricing, and commissions. Manage product, market, and regulatory tracking and training. Keep up-to-date of new products and services. Develop and document sales and key account plans for territory in Salesforce CRM platform. Create budgets, forecasts and projections for territory and accounts. Coordinate activities with support team that includes: Inside Sales, Customer Service, Project Management, Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, Finance, and Production managers. Participate in education and training conferences, sales events, and marketing programs. Attend tradeshows as required. Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product developments. Deliver presentations on company products and services to current and potential customers. Respond to sales inquiries by phone, electronically, or in person. Travel up to 55% of the time in assigned territory. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Live in the Midwestern Region or willing to relocate. Greater Chicago, Milwaukee, or Indianapolis is preferred. B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college/university in Business / Marketing / Engineering. 5 years of successful industrial product business-to-business sales. Stationary engine Power Gen Industry sales experience preferred - knowledge of systems such as gen-sets and emissions and emissions reduction systems. Attention to detail. Organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High energy with a positive, courteous attitude. Willingness to work cross functionally, assert beliefs and opinions, and to learn. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proven ability to achieve sales targets. Knowledge and understanding of reciprocating engines, silencers, and catalysts preferred.
