Job Summary: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) drives the overall IT strategy for Brightli's diverse organizations, supporting community health and well-being initiatives. The CIO leads the planning, coordination, and execution of all IT operations, providing strategic direction for mission-critical technology solutions. Collaborating with leadership, the CIO identifies best practices, and recommends, develops, and implements cost-effective, system-wide IT solutions to enhance business operations. Collaborate with the executive team identifying ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals. Identify new IT developments and technologies; anticipates resulting organizational modifications. Ensure IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company's computing, data processing, and communications needs. Develop and implement the IT budget. Establish long-term IT goals and develop strategies to acquire software and hardware necessary to meet those needs. Top-level contact for end users in determining IT requirements and/or solutions. Ensure compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations. Provide leadership and drive the established Key Performance Indicators (KPI) In concert with the BIP Chief Executive and Leadership Councils at all respective subsidiaries. Create and demonstrate a culture of trust, inclusion, safety, fairness, equality, and quality. Promote a positive work environment and culture in order to help attract, retain, and foster high levels of staff satisfaction. Provide significant assistance to the CEO and/or Presidents as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience and/or Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully developing and executing IT strategies in alignment with business goals. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, data management, and cybersecurity best practices. Demonstrated ability leading large-scale technology transformations and manage complex IT projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on innovation and operational excellence. Preferred Skills: Experience with electronic health records and billing systems. Experience with cloud computing, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and digital transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of IT governance and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations. Experience in budget management and cost optimization of IT operations. Supervisory Requirements: Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members. Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department. Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives. Involve, as appropriate, all team members to achieve goals. Effectively communicate to team members any changes and newsworthy events within the organization. Handle difficult team member situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas. Reinforces team approach throughout functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the company.
