This Job Description is for the Information Technology Job Family.Reporting to the System Architect II Team Lead, you will be asked to have knowledge of, be able to perform actions that are related to activities in the designated business line. The Developer position designs or modifies automated applications and procedures for solutions to business problems of moderate to high complexity. Also have full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis and programming and can work at the highest level of technical/complexity on systems and programming. May review work of lower-level personnel and may perform as an individual contributor on complex systems. Have a working knowledge of one or more development platforms including experience with .NET, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, and the M365 ecosystem, plus an understanding of business processes.

What You Will Do: Develop cloud applications in a multi-tiered environment using modern frameworks and source code management tools Work in an Agile development environment Work with a System architect to design solutions based on business and technology considerations. Cloud migration planning and implementation (M365, Azure, AWS) Promote re-use and shared services to reduce complexity of the technology portfolio. Produce technical documentation. Build solutions in compliance of architectural and security standards. Collaborate with other Federal Reserve System developers and participate in communities of practice. Stay up to date with the latest M365 features and technologies, and industry trends to propose solutions and guide improvements (such as Azure and AWS). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with other enterprise systems. Participate in Agile assessments, PI planning, and development efforts estimates. Mentor junior developers and system analysts by providing direction and guidance when needed. Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. Work with the Board of Governors providing web services support to build and maintain solutions.
What You Have: Knowledge: Excellent technical skills Eagar to learn and develop professionally Excellent knowledge of Power Platform and the M365 ecosystem (SharePoint Online, PowerBI) platform features, capabilities, and best practices. Excellent background in application and solution development with emphasis on cloud and enterprise platform solutions (Azure and AWS). Analytical, ability to work on complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Excellent verbal/writ en communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with all partners. Excellent ability to work with customers and collaborate with other team members. Be a team player; 'we' vs 'me' mentality. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent significant experience in information technology and application development is required. Minimum of 7 years of experience designing and developing applications using a software development approach. Minimum of 5 years of development experience with technologies described above. Experience as a Power Platform developer and SharePoint Online subject matter expert, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions preferred.
