AMS Analyst - Workday Integration

Overview
Seeking an application support and maintenance specialist to join our global AMS support team. This role will have a heavy focus on the Workday application and the integration therein. The person in this role will report to the AMS Manager with a dotted line report to People Technology. The AMS team is responsible for supporting end users for our core business applications while working with development teams on break fixes/bugs, configuration changes, and system/job monitoring. The People Technology team specializes in design, architecture and enhancements of HR related systems as well as escalated support issues.
What You’ll Do
The core objectives of this position are:
Advocate for the end user by providing a delightful and efficient user experience through professional, proactive communication, regular updates, and timely resolution of issues.
A troubleshoot and analyze reported issues to resolution or escalation with root cause analysis.
Proactively highlight and address trending issues or suggest necessary enhancements or configuration changes.
Adequately test solutions to ensure end user adoption and smooth release transition.
Work on Core HCM, Absence, Benefits and Reporting.
Develop and articulate solution options that incorporate user experience, scalability, security and best practices.
Ensure the integrity of HR Systems, primarily but not limited to Workday.
Be able to manage complex integrations and related configurations.
Be responsible for understanding existing integrations and manage changes to them as necessary.
Designing and developing solutions using the Workday Integration tools, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Studio for HR & Payroll.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations.
A drive to take ownership of reported issues and see them through to resolution.
An emphasis on advocating for the end user while effectively communicating application or configuration limitations.
Experience with a global support structure stretching over multiple time zones and cultural differences.
Possess a love for problem solving using excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to learn quickly.
3+ years of proven experience in Workday integrations, HCM implementations, development, testing, configuration, and deployment.
Familiarity with Workday Extends, ServiceNow Journey and Case management, and Agile methodologies desired.
Experience or exposure to PGP encryptions, SSH, OAuth, Custom Report, Workday Security, Workday Studio, EIBs, Core/Cloud Connectors, PECI, PICOF, DT, XML, CXML, XSLT, or SOAP highly desired.
