Position Purpose
The Retail Pharmacy Courier delivers medications and supplies to long term care facilities, physician offices, and to patient personal residences.
Hours/Schedule
PRN; Available shifts: M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-8:30pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm. Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Minimum Qualification
A. Education [formal]:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
B. Experience:
Retail experience is preferred but not required
C. Registration
1. 1. Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Support Person is required to be validated prior to commencement of employment per IA BOP Rules 657.5.4(155A). Registration must be kept current for length of employment.
C. Special Skills and Competencies:
Must be a safe driver with acceptable driving record and valid Iowa driver's license
Strong customer service skills
