Current employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct federal audit preparation by ensuring background screening documents for providers are submitted and dates are appropriate.
Complete licensing attestation reviews
Upload files to FSFN for CCA/CPA
Coordinate, schedule LPRC staffings and document the outcome on the form and in FSFN
Assist new providers with getting the paperwork and processes completed for CCA/CPA licensure
Accompany our other teams conducting site visits at the at-risk CCAs and report back any issues
Maintain the new licensing tracker
Track all files that have been sent back to CPAs for correction and follow up with the licensing agency to ensure timely responses are received
Track issues that are pending a response from legal
Track all expiring licenses and send reminders to the CCAs/CPAs
Be in charge a dedicated phone line for licensing related questions from providers and community
Track CAPs for completion
Track overcapacity waivers to ensure none expire
Monitor the 1268 report for data errors
Track open FCRs to ensure compliance with timeframes and assign to team. Check receiving unit and assign FCR to CBC or DCF.
Approve licenses in Binti to reduce backlog upon confirmation from the licensing specialist that it is approved in FSFN.
Response to zoning inquiry lists
Response to media and legislative requests, accordingly
Any onboarding activities for those coming or going from the team.
Finger print exemption review to ensure all document was provided and uploading final documentation to workforce management BGS system after approved by manager
OCA requests- review forms to ensure it is filled out completely and ensure supporting documentation was submitted
UAT system testing
Assist with briefing documents as appropriate
Assist with gathering PIP information (recruitment/retention plans, etc.)
Rearrests: Follow up with provider to determine outcome of individuals employment status
LSS: assign as Intake worker to enter complaints in the system and assign to the licensing specialist
Responds positively and timely to special assignments and performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree preferred
Child welfare certification from the FCB preferred
A minimum of 2 years experience in Child Welfare preferred
A minimum of 1 year experience in foster home licensing preferred
Computer skills to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Florida Safe Family Network (FSFN), Internet
Ability to travel throughout Region preferred
Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree in social services related area of study. Related areas of study include, but are not limited to: Human Services, Education, Human Sciences, Law, Behavioral Sciences, Human Development, Psychology, Social Policy, Sociology, Public Administration, Education, Community Development, Health Science, Political Science.
