GIS Analyst 3
to join one of our top clients in

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the GIS Analyst 3:
- Work with end users to implement Esri configured solutions in Portal and ArcGIS Online- Conduct use-case analysis of business functions to identify GIS application requirements, technical issues, and training needs- Communicate with internal and external technical resources to resolve end-user issues- Use a variety of spatial editing techniques to accurately create and update an array of GIS datasets- Participate in compatibility testing of application upgrades- Prepare technical documentation including data specifications, user requirements, and procedures- Conduct in-house training and tracking progress on system implementation and application projectsThis is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the possibility of transitioning to the Fire Department after 1.5 years.
Required Skills for GIS Analyst 3:
- Extensive experience with ArcGIS Pro- Knowledge of configuring ArcGIS Solutions including web apps and dashboards- Considerable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently- Understanding of data, functions, and tasks that the GIS applications will support- Experience with database design and GIS mapping tasks- Python scripting, GOIA or deep learning, and experience with indoor mapping are a plus
