Job Description Do you possess a comprehensive technical knowledge of the challenges faced by the telecom industry in executing projects, particularly regarding jurisdictional requirements and the electric utilities' pole access constraints? PSE is seeking a leader to supervise technical and project management staff that estimates, engineers and provides project management to meet the needs of customers for the installation of street and area lighting, communication siting, wireless and other related Pole services. This position will manage, direct and control projects that require gaining the cooperation of multiple governmental and community organizations as well as the area's wireless and communication partners and developers. Projects may involve new construction, upgrades, attachments to and modifications of PSE's and customer owned street and area lighting systems and poles. This position will identify the scope of assigned projects and decide logical action to meet project requirements and deadlines by applying general rules, standards and technical guidelines. Ensures project management and quality control processes are implemented consistently across the organization. Coordinates activities with outside service partners and material suppliers and internal procurement and materials management functions. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Maintains department technical training curriculum and supports the development of technical personnel. Ensures quality and consistency of project management. Monitors workload, accuracy, productivity and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiencies and departmental goals are met. Supports Material Supply Chain team in product selection, quality assessments and performance review of external material vendors. Collaborates with both PSE internal departments and the Service Providers to resolve the root cause of an issue and to deliver an excellent customer experience.
