datacenterHawk, an industry leader in data center research, seeks an ambitious Senior Business Development Associate (BDA) to join the sales team in our Dallas office. Our research, in combination with the datacenterHawk platform, enables our customers to make better data center real estate decisions.
Job Summary:
The Senior Business Development Associate is responsible for growing new business and nurturing existing relationships. This role conducts independent research to understand various customer personas, lines of business and how they are related to the datacenterHawk product offering.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Independently research and understand various customer personas and lines of business and how they relate to the datacenterHawk product offeringUse research to grow new business pipeline by utilizing various forms of communicationCreate opportunities to connect with prospectsConduct demos to educate prospective clients on the value of datacenterHawk's product offering and to assess an opportunityCommunicate the value and return on investment versus the technical functionality of the datacenterHawk platformManage inbound leads, provide value-add touches, and support senior rolesInteract with site traffic via chatConduct various tasks via SalesforceServe as an enthusiastic and professional brand ambassadorAdditional Responsiblities:
Assist greater sales team on ad hoc initiatives around prospecting, evaluating and implementing new sales technologiesAttend conferences as needed (1-2x/year)Serve as a mentor for junior sales team membersCritical Competencies

Experience in a sales role, including identifying new customers, nurturing relationships, and moving sales prospects through the sales funnelStrong understanding of commercial real estate including data center transactionsHighly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented, strong problem solving and analytical skills.Strong presentation, writing, and communication skillsSelf-motivated, team player with ability develop relationships with business stakeholdersExperience with SalesforceQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred3-5 years of experience in customer-facing role, cultivating and managing business development
