Travel RN - Cardiac ICU - NeuroShift:
Nights / 6:30p-7a,
12x3, 36 hrs per week, will accept 48 upon request, EOHLength:
13 weeksWeekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week scheduleRequirements:
IN/compact licenseMinimum 3 years of RN experience1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience1 travel assignmentTrauma level II experienceSkillset: dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocolAHA BLSAHA ACLSNIHSSPreferred: CRRT, tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont)Recent Epic charting experienceOther details:Float Requirement: First to float within skillsetPatient Population:
General medical ICU patients – general cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsisUnit Information: 28 beds.
Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3; CN rarely takes patients.No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubsCovid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
