What We Need

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in search of an

Accounting Manager . The Accounting Manager functions as an important member of the Accounting department and is a key resource in managing the monthly accounting operations for the company. Key responsibilities include: preparation of financial statements, produce and manage balance sheets reconciliations, manage Accounts Payable and cash management and support the audit and similar processes. The Accounting Manager reports to the Global Corporate Controller.

What You'll Do

Lead the execution of the accounting close process and implement best practices to improve timing, including preparing month-end close entries

Review the monthly financials and perform fluctuation analysis on income statement accounts

Maintains General Ledger account reconciliations

Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure liquidity

Manages the annual audit, including preparation of audit schedules and technical memos

Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business expands

Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 5-10 years of accounting experience

NetSuite knowledge and experience is required.

SaaS company experience is preferred

CPA certification highly preferred

Strong understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of US GAAP esp. ASC 606

High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Macros, etc.)

Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving with a focus on understanding operational impacts of accounting transactions

Experience in managing and developing staff personnel

Proactive and self-motivated accounting professional, able to think independently

Intellectual curiosity and initiative to dive in, ask questions, and figure things out

Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy

Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new software and systems quickly

Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations

Strong understanding of data flow between systems

In office Monday thru Thursday at north Scottsdale, AZ office location
