June 14th, 2024SummaryThe Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for ensuring product quality and integrity through manufacturing improvements, product design improvements, and cost-reduction projectsKey ActivitiesDrive continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems and process improvements that optimize all phases of the production process; be actively involved in the development and implementation of long-term quality improvement plans.Support the business in development and implementation of quality procedures and systems throughout the manufacturing process that support the manufacture and delivery of quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations, provide for efficiency and accuracy in all customer related processes, reduce scrap, and improve plant performance.Provide technical inputs for root cause analysis and corrective action.Support quality reporting and responses to customer complaints (CIR's) within the plant etc.Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any quality non-conformances related to product, process and systems.Compile data and prepare regular and special reports including KPI, OEE, statistical and other reports.Performs a variety of functions necessary for the successful operation of the department, as assigned by the management of the company.Actively supports, participates in and maintains the integrity and ongoing function of the company and facility's safety program, ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.Develop and implement strategies for consistent practices across business lines with Team Leaders.Work collaboratively with leaders at multiple levels to deploy strategy and manage the Lean system.Preferred SkillsLean certification preferred.Educations & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.1-2 years of experience working in a lean, ISO and quality manufacturing Environment.Are you looking for your next opportunity?
