OverviewJoining Susquehanna’s Trading Operations team as a Business Analyst places you right in the heart of our business. Working directly with global teams that span Trading, HR, Legal, Operations, and Technology, you’ll be the bridge between each of these teams and our development and technical teams, translating business requests into tools, systems, and/or reports that directly impact business operations. Best of all, there’s no “one” way approach to how we think about process improvements and automation at Susquehanna. Here, you’ll maximize your creativity and technical skills to assess business requests, evaluate their suitability to meet business objectives, and then partner with technology to make it happen.
In this role you will:
Working between our Bala HQ and offices in Dublin and Sydney to support the development and implementation of universal calculations tools that are agnostic to location and securities type
Supporting the build-out of an internal system of books and records that incorporates counter-party data from varying trading systems and normalizes it for easier consumption
Managing an initiative to put in place reconciliation tools that facilitate data comparison and trade reporting
What we’re looking for
Bachelors degree required; specialization in finance or STEM discipline preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Trading Operations, Business Analyst, or related role
Strong analytical and problem solving skills critical, with excellent time management/ prioritization abilities
Experience with Excel required; experience with VBA, SQL and/or scripting (i.e. Python) preferred
Knowledge of SDLC models is a plus
Proficient understanding of relational database concepts preferred
