If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for a Temporary Human Resources Associate that will coordinate the day to day activities in the Human Resources Department. Maintains accurate records, performs departmental accounting duties, provides quality service to employees and supports the recruiting, payroll, onboarding, benefits administration, and exit processes.

MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Maintains HR records in all forms to ensure legal compliance.

• Monitors the HR mail box and responds to daily inquiries by email.

• Provides quality and timely assistance to current and prospective employees in response to phone calls, in person questions, or emailed requests for assistance.

• Supports the recruiting function by updating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, processing background investigations, and employment verifications, etc.

• Prepares employment documentation such as offer letters, welcome packages, and exit information.

• Monitors the learning management system; assigns new training as needed, assigns annual policy acknowledgements, maintains training records, and retrieves records as requested.

• Prepares various human resources reports as needed.

• Plans employee engagement events: secures caterers, confirms facility orders, etc.

• Monitors the monthly invoices for the department to ensure accounts are paid timely.

• Prepares graphics and content for advertising events or companywide email.

• Assists with bi-weekly and monthly payrolls as needed.

• Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information.

REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 1-3 years previous administrative or office management experience

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Friendly and professional demeanor

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Able to learn new systems quickly to perform work as new projects arise (ie. Adobe Pro, Canva, etc.)

• Ability to evaluate information and make decisions within established frameworks.

Preferred

• 1-3 years accounting or banking experience

• Previous experience with employee recruiting, records management, benefits administration, and payroll

• Previous experience with UKG
