As a
Configuration Manager
with Arete this position will provide support and ownership to the document control processes and training throughout the product life cycle, including development, sustaining and end-of-life. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated. The candidate must be a self-starter, team builder, and excellent communicator. This position requires coordination and collaboration of activities with other functional groups and project managers within a matrix development environment. You will be responsible for providing and ensuring consistent and accurate configuration control in accordance with SAE EIA 649, and our ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This person will be process oriented and can review current processes and look to streamline and standardize according to best practices. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time role based in our
Tucson, AZ
office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Will provide Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) support to the Cyber Engineering, Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead, Engineering Manager (EM) and Program Manager (PM).Supporting and executing configuration control through system documentation, software, and drawing release, revision, and archivalDevelop and optimize the process for releasing product configurations into the CM system.Tracking and delivering project data(documentation, software, drawing packages)Drafting Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)Drafting deviations and waivers; maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)This position requires coordination and collaboration of activities with other functional groups and project managers within a matrix development environment operational, production-ready system.We have an impressive range of benefits, programs, and perks that we offer:

Degree background Engineering or related field5+ yrs. of relative experience with BS/BAKnowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, ASMECandidate should be familiar with the JSIG standards.Candidate should be familiar with SAE-GEIA-859 and MIL-STD-963.Active TS clearance
The salary range for this role is
$92,000 to $120,000 ; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills
Other Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
