We are currently seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales / Account Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales / Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for our customers. You will be involved in the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to order fulfillment and post-sales support. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide them with tailored solutions while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management: Develop and nurture relationships with a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities. Regularly communicate with customers to understand their requirements, provide product recommendations, and address any concerns or issues they may have.

  2. Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or customer base. Conduct market research to identify potential customers, generate leads, and expand the customer base. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing sales volume and market share.

  3. Product Knowledge: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our flooring, kitchen, and bath product offerings. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product features, and benefits. Demonstrate product knowledge to effectively advise customers on suitable options, address technical inquiries, and provide value-added solutions.

  4. Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers, considering their specific requirements and budgetary constraints. Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate with the sales team and management to establish pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.

  5. Order Processing and Coordination: Process sales orders promptly and accurately using our internal systems. Liaise with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Coordinate with customers, installers, and contractors to schedule deliveries and installations, resolving any issues that may arise.

  6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism. Strive to exceed customer expectations and build long-term relationships.

  7. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order details. Prepare regular sales reports, analyzing sales data and identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use data-driven insights to develop strategies for improving sales performance.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in inside sales or account management, preferably in the flooring, kitchen, or bath industry. Experience in a wholesale environment is highly desirable.

  2. Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of flooring materials, kitchen, and bath products, including different types of flooring, cabinetry, countertops, sinks, and fixtures. Familiarity with industry trends, installation methods, and technical specifications.

  3. Sales and Customer Service Skills: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to effectively manage accounts, generate leads, and close deals. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Strong customer service orientation, focused on meeting and exceeding customer needs.

  4. Organizational and Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented and thorough in order processing, documentation, and follow-up.

  5. Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software. Experience with order management systems and inventory management software is a plus.

  6. Self-Motivated and Team Player: Highly motivated, results-driven individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments.

  7. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
