Engages directly with global lighting industry associations, existing ULS lighting customers, key prospects, and other external demand drivers to strengthen ULs current position and standing in the lighting luminaire segment of business.Conducts market analyses within key lighting/luminaire markets and identifies new potential audiences (i.e. Utilities, Municipalities) to scale and grow the ULS global business within the luminaire segment.Works cross-functionally to develop strong value propositions and strategies with BU/Divisional leadership, product managers, operations, sales, and marketing to generate revenue growth and achieve goals.Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.Monitors future product technology trends and standards development activities within the luminaires segment.Develops and coordinates executive presentations and de-briefings.Assists industry leadership in the development of global account strategies, goals and plans.Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth and expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of new and key customers.Responsible for creation of new service opportunity pipeline and business portfolio to achieve financial growth targetWhat you’ll experience working at UL:Mission: For UL Solutions, corporate and social responsibility isn’t new. The target for this position is 20% of the base salary offered. Engages with UL Clients and industry stakeholders on a regular basis to understand market trends and client needs.*2. Collaborates closely with Sales to conduct client discovery sessions and collect real-time client feedback to understand market needs.*3. Works closely with Regional Product Managers to develop competitive analyses and market share trends.*4. Engages with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product Managers and Marketing to develop new offerings and drive to market launch.*5. Works with Finance and Industry Lead to identify initiative investment requirements and develop capital resource requests as required.*6. Works with Product Managers to develop market-competitve and profitable pricing strategies for new service offerings.*7. Develops and coordinates executive presentations and de-briefings*8. Provide Sales training and support for successful product / service launches.*9. Read and follow the UL Solutions’ Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.*10. Performs other duties as directed.University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplines.Advanced Degree (MBA or related) preferred plus generally seven years of experience in highest value corporate account management or eight years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales area with account management experience.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the global lighting industry, key industry stakeholders and demand drivers.Demonstrated knowledge of the Lighting Testing, Inspection, and Certification business including all services including Product Safety Certification, Global Market Access, and Performance / Reliability testing.Strong knowledge of lighting TIC competitive landscape.Ability to communicate and sell to key decision-makers at the highest levels of an organization.Ability to create strong, differentiated value propositions for key new services.UL LLC has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity employer.
