Peoplelink Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to manage critical financial operations and support our company's continued success. This role is essential to ensuring that our financial processes run smoothly, and you will play a key part in shaping the financial health of the organization.

Compensation: $100k-$120k + annual bonus

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote), Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

How You'll Do It

The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Controller are to manage the period and year end accounting close process, to assist in overseeing the timely and accurate reporting of the company's financial performance, to assist with all third-party financial audits, and oversee the organization's accounting functions.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Accounting Department personnel
  • Maintain general ledger and supporting schedules for Peoplelink and related companies
  • Assist with preparing the monthly consolidation of financials for Peoplelink and related companies
  • Assist with updating and maintaining monthly consolidated schedules for foreign parent (Including, but not limited to, cash flow projections, the US Data pack, AR reporting, Loan and distribution reporting, and the comparable growth summary)
  • Maintain G/L chart of accounts for Peoplelink and related companies
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Update and maintain financial reports in Management Reporter
  • Support Controller in managing the annual year end audit process
  • Consult on the effectiveness and efficiency of accounting and reporting process flow
  • Ensure all SALT filings are submitted timely and accurately
  • All other duties, as directed by the Controller or Chief Financial Officer
What You'll Bring

This is an experienced hire role, and you'll need to bring 5-10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

Here's what else we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Completion of an advanced degree preferred)
  • Experience filing SALT requirements timely and accurately
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and Management Reporter, preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Word and with advanced skills in Excel
  • Understand MS Dynamics (Great Plains), Management Reporter, Power BI, Bullhorn, Greenshades, Microsoft Office, and SAP (BFC consolidation software)
  • Have a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial accounting standards
  • Able to manage a team of staff professionals and supervisors

Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the duties of this job, the associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to interact with branch personnel, corporate personnel, and temporary employees in person, via phone, and via email. The associate must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment, read, and write the application information. The staff associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
