Inviting applications for the role of Statistical Data Analyst
Skills - Genpact LLC seeks Statistical Data Analyst (multiple positions) in Richardson, TX to identify ways to optimize the entire end-to-end process and adopt statistical modelling techniques to analyze rebate and sales performance to draw insight using various optimization tools such as SAS or Python. Communicate such insights to key client stakeholders for better business planning. Analyze data and extract meaningful features using advanced analytics. Configure and program SQL queries and procedures to extract data from large databases like Oracle, Redshift, and others. Resolve issues and implement new features. Work with business users, project managers, and other project stakeholders and leads to gather and analyze requirements. Assist in the analysis and design project phases. Responsible for maintenance and tool upgrades and resolve bugs as required. Process a large amount of data sets effectively. Rewrite or fix the code to resolve identified issues and deploy a hotfix to the production environment based on root cause analysis.
Education - Position requires a Master's degree in a Statistics, Computer Science, Sciences, Mathematics, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered, a related software engineer, computer programmer, systems analyst position, or related occupation. As an alternative, a Bachelor's degree in a Statistics, Computer Science, Sciences, Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in the job offered, a related software engineer, computer programmer, systems analyst position, or related occupation is also acceptable. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable. Position also requires 1 year of experience with SAS, Python, and SQL. The position headquartered in Richardson, TX with travel required to unanticipated project sites throughout the U.S. based on client need.
