Inviting applications for the role of Developer-Quality Assurance II
Skills:
Headstrong Services LLC seeks Developer-Quality Assurance II (multiple positions) in Richardson, TX to lead the efforts to design, test, and evaluate integrated systems to manage software application production processes including quality control, process definition, and configuration management within a distributed development environment. Research and evaluate solution requirements to design the test strategy. Design process models to optimize test architecture and to evaluate efficiency of application product designs and production methodology. Employ a range of industry standard software testing methods and tools within a web-based and object-oriented environment, including HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Rational Suite, and similar tools. Coordinate onsite operations with distributed resources located offshore. Communicate effectively with client staff and coworkers to resolve technical issues and to document all testing processes.
Education:
Position requires a Master’s degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Business Administration, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered, a related software engineering, programmer, or systems analyst position, or related occupation. As an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in the job offered, a related software engineering, programmer, or systems analyst position, or related occupation is also acceptable. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable. Position headquartered in Richardson, TX with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 10% to 15% of travel required.
