PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and Opportunities
- Researches the market and potential clients, businesses and partners.
- Networking
- Engages with key stakeholders in the market and shares industry-specific information.
- Engages architects, engineers & other partners.
- Contacts, follows up and maintains contact with potential customers.
- Identifies, generates, qualifies, and manages leads.
- Initiates the "zippering" process by identifying key stakeholders and coordinates introduction and meetings with key operations staff and subject matter experts.
- Identifies ultimate decision makers (UDM), influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Helps lead the Go/No Go process.
- Follows best practices for CRM utilization.
Winning Work (Pursuits/RFP/RFQ)
- Research industry trends, barriers to entry, key stakeholders, economic forecasts, competitors, governmental legislation, and other relevant indicators.
- Research potential client, businesses, partners, etc. to assist in developing pursuit strategy.
- Engages project team and C-level support in the "zippering" process.
- Meets with or coordinates meetings with ultimate decision makers (UDM), influencers, and other stakeholders and understands their hot buttons.
- Helps support and/or lead responses to RFQ/P's, proposals and interviews.
- Coordinates needed information with Marketing.
Community and Industry Engagement
- Actively participates in the community through civic, economic development, professional, and philanthropic organizations
- Assists in developing and managing budget related to events, donations and sponsorships specific to the market.
- Tracks public budgets and incentives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements before going into job)
- 3+ years of Business/Project Development and/or AEC experience.
- Proven track record of business/project development success.
