NACM is investing capital from Stifel North AM Forward Fund (the Fund), in mezzanine and structured capital investments for manufacturing businesses serving the aerospace and defense sector, with a particular focus on additive and advanced manufacturing.

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Analyst to join our team at North Atlantic Capital Management (NACM). NACM is investing capital from Stifel North AM Forward Fund (the Fund), in mezzanine and structured capital investments for manufacturing businesses serving the aerospace and defense sector, with a particular focus on additive and advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Execution
- With guidance from the senior investment team, conduct due diligence on prospective investments, including financial, operational, and market analysis
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare investment memoranda for review by Managing Directors
- Assist in negotiating and structuring investment terms
- Support the closing process for new investments under Managing Director oversight
Deal Origination
- Manage the deal prospect pipeline and process
- Screen and evaluate potential investments for general fit within the Fund's investment criteria
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the aerospace and defense manufacturing sector
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry executives, and other relevant professionals
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to source new investment opportunities
- Track and report on deal flow metrics
Portfolio Management
- With assistance from the team, monitor financial and operational performance of the Fund's portfolio companies
- With assistance from the team, prepare regular reports on portfolio company performance
Education
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field from a top-tier college or university
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting
- Demonstrated track record of success
- Knowledge of the aerospace and defense sector, particularly in manufacturing helpful but not required
Skills
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- General understanding of mezzanine financing and structured capital solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
